MINI COMETS & MAXI COMMENTS

Yesterday's comments on this network together with David Morrison's
latest NEO News have stimulated a number of responses and
clarifications. I intend to circulate some of them in edited or in
their original form as soon as possible. I am currently in contact
with various astronomers who are - in one way or another -
involved in this odd debate. I hope to be able to circulating their
criticism and sceptical views in due course.

I will also try to get in touch with the main culprit of this
controversy, Dr Louis Frank, to ask whether he is happy to present
some of his new data on this network and to see how convincing his
arguments are in face of the factual criticism raised by his
colleagues.

In order to organise a reasonable and matter-of-fact discussion,
further comments backed up by facts rather than gut-feeling are
invited and should be addressed to me. I'll try my best to keep
this debate as factual and dispassionate as possible.
